I’ve been aware of this since Thursday.
Royal Columbian Hospital’s ICU also stressed and so are hospitals in northern BC.
Health authorities have confirmed patients are being transferred to facilities with space.
Sadly, more cancelled surgeries now expected.

The NHL is postponing the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs so we can get the fully scheduled 4-game dose of Ottawa vs. Vancouver.
Is it really worth putting a group of athletes recovering from a respiratory illness through a unprecedented meat grinder for that?
