So, the question is, why has the low incidence of blood clotting become such a big deal and blown out of proportion so that huge numbers of people worldwide think there's a problem with receiving the AZ vaccine??

A great way to explain the relative risks of the AZ vaccine with patients. In short, get what you can as quickly as you can! Thanks to @NourKhatibMD for translating from the original Spanish.

10% of Ontario postal codes have 90% of cases. Richest, lowest risk neighbourhoods have highest vaccination rates. Essential workers are least paid, least eligible for vaccination & most likely to infect multiple family members. We don't beat COVID without addressing inequity.

I am very pleased with the pivot by @fordnation and @ongov to target Ontario’s vaccine rollout and other public health measures to protect those most affected by #COVID. I look forward to learning the details on how plan will be executed without delay.

We are losing a #COVID ICU patient under age 50 every 2.8 days. Stay-at-home will not address the root causes of variant-driven Wave 3 taking down younger people.

What happens when someone with #COVID19 survives a hospital stay? I've seen many people who are left with lung damage, severe fatigue, memory impairment & PTSD. Their lives, and those of their families are changed forever. Vaccines can prevent this. Let's. Get. Vaccinating.

From @POTUS proclamation on #YomHaShoah: "All of us must understand the depravity that is possible when governments back policies fueled by hatred, when we dehumanize groups of people, and when ordinary people decide that it is easier to look away or go along than to speak out."

4 April 1902 | A Polish Jewish woman, Majta Rubin, was born in Kalisz. She emigrated to #France. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 23 August 1942 in a group of 1,000 Jews deported from Drancy together with her daughters: Bella (14) & Micheline (5). They were murdered in a gas chaber.

Overt expressions of antiscience and even outright antiscience editorials and OpEds are now featured regularly in the WSJ. It is becoming the intellectual home of anti-intellectualism and Antiscience in America. Over the course of the pandemic it is losing its moral compass

Please follow @AuschwitzMuseum We have a lot to remember that we weren’t supposed to forget.
If you say "never again", think also: "What has my reaction been as a bystander to evil? What is my responsibility in turning it into a place free of hatred and indifference? What can I do today, to make our world a better & safer place." And then, start doing it. Start now.

People ask whether vaccinations can really blunt the variants May I present data from Israel? About 55% of the population fully vaccinated Infections are down more than 90% since peak So yeah, high levels of vaccinations really can bring this pandemic under control
